Trying to expand the reach of its services, Nokia has now announced the release of its HERE Maps for Samsung devices.
Nokia has announced the launch of the HERE Maps services for the Samsung Gear and Samsung Galaxy devices. The app is known for the offline navigation available using the in-built GPS without requiring a steady internet connection. Users can avail turn-by-turn navigation with traffic information. However, as of now, turn-by-turn navigation is available for 100 maps whereas the traffic information is available in just 40 maps.
The Nokia HERE maps services would be available for all supported Samsung smartphones and smart watches for free. Further, Nokia has assured to add more new features in the coming months. However there are users hoping for the maps services to be introduced for other Android handsets as well.
