Facebook & Instagram Analytics
Meta AI can analyze organic content performance across Facebook and Instagram using engagement and audience data such as:
- Reach
- Saves
- Shares
- Comments
- Profile visits
Businesses can ask Meta AI which types of content have performed best, identify what is resonating with their audience, and receive suggestions based on their previous results.
Meta AI can also analyze publicly available content and engagement patterns from comparable brands on Facebook and Instagram. This allows businesses to benchmark their own organic performance and understand how similar brands are building their presence on Meta’s platforms.
Meta Ads Performance Analysis
Meta AI can also analyze Meta Ads performance to identify patterns across campaigns and ad sets.
The AI can help businesses understand:
- Which audiences are delivering the best results
- Which types of content perform better
- Which ad creatives may no longer be resonating
- Why certain creatives perform differently
- Where advertising budgets could potentially be used more effectively
Businesses can ask Meta AI to audit their advertising performance over a specific period, compare top-performing ad sets, identify common patterns, and suggest changes for future campaigns.
The resulting analysis can also be converted into a three-slide presentation, making it easier to share campaign insights with a team or clients.
Google Workspace Integration
Meta AI can now work with connected Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
By connecting these services with Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Ads data, businesses can ask questions that require information from multiple sources within the same conversation.
Meta AI can also use business information and web data to create:
- Presentations
- Documents
- Spreadsheets
Businesses can additionally set up recurring tasks and reminders to receive regular updates about their business performance.
Business Benchmarking & Comparable Brands
Beyond analyzing a company’s own accounts, Meta AI can use publicly available information from comparable brands on Facebook and Instagram.
This allows businesses to compare their content and engagement patterns with similar brands and identify potential opportunities for improving their own social media strategy.
Meta said early testers found the recommendations more actionable because they were based on their own content, performance, and audience data rather than generic business advice.
Meta AI Desktop App For Mac
Meta has also added capabilities to the Meta AI desktop app for Mac. Users can share a window during a session and allow Meta AI to see what they are working on.
The AI can then provide suggestions or assistance based on the content displayed in the shared window.
The Mac app also includes built-in dictation, allowing users to dictate across applications on their Mac.
Other Meta AI Business Tools
The new features complement Meta’s existing AI tools for businesses, including Meta Business Agent and Meta AI business assistant.
Meta has also published guidance explaining how these tools differ and where businesses can use them for different types of insights, analysis, and support.

Availability
The new Meta AI capabilities for businesses are starting to roll out across meta.ai, the Meta AI mobile app, and the new Meta AI desktop app.
Meta says it plans to add more capabilities, deeper integrations, and additional business-focused features in the coming months.
