Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleMeta has officially announced a new lineup of paid subscription services across its platforms, introducing Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus as part of its broader push toward premium experiences, AI-powered services, and subscription-based monetization.

The company says the new subscriptions are designed to offer enhanced customization, personalization, engagement tools, and advanced AI capabilities while keeping the standard versions of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp free for regular users.
Meta also confirmed that its growing subscription ecosystem may gradually come together under the “Meta One” branding in the future. According to Meta’s Head of Product Naomi Gleit, additional features and benefits will continue expanding over time.
The new Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus subscriptions mainly focus on profile customization and Story-related features. Subscribers gain access to advanced Story insights, rewatch counts, extended audience controls, unlimited Story audience lists beyond Close Friends, animated Story reactions, additional profile pins, and custom app icons and profile bio fonts.
Meta is also introducing several visibility and posting enhancements for subscribers, including the ability to extend Stories beyond the standard 24-hour duration, preview Stories anonymously, search Story viewer lists, and publish posts to profiles or highlights without pushing them into follower feeds. The company is additionally testing weekly Story spotlighting for increased profile visibility.
On the messaging side, WhatsApp Plus focuses on personalization and chat organization tools. Subscribers will receive access to custom themes, premium sticker packs, custom ringtones, expanded list customization, and support for pinning up to 20 additional conversations.
Meta clarified that these new subscriptions will operate separately from Meta Verified, which continues focusing on identity verification, impersonation protection, and customer support services.
Alongside the consumer-focused subscriptions, Meta is also preparing new AI-focused subscription plans that will unlock higher AI usage limits, deeper reasoning capabilities for complex tasks, and expanded image and video generation features across Meta’s platforms.
According to the company, higher-tier AI plans will provide additional compute capacity for heavy AI usage scenarios. Meta also plans to extend some AI subscription benefits to future AI glasses products.
The company is simultaneously testing creator- and business-focused subscription tiers with tools designed for professional creators, businesses, and social media managers. Planned features include verified badges, advanced analytics, audience insights, improved content discovery, profile promotion tools, scheduling capabilities, team management systems, and notifications when other users reuse original content.
Meta also revealed that higher-tier Meta One Advanced subscribers may gain access to clickable links inside Instagram posts and Reels.
