Micromax Canvas Gold recently leaked and now, the device is available in India. The well specced Micromax smartphone is available at online retailer Infibeam for a healthy price tag of Rs. 23,999.

Micromax-Canvas-Gold-A300

The Micromax Canvas Gold A300 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display and it is powered by a 2 GHz Tru Octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor. There’s 2 GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and the device features 32 GB of storage, with 25 GB available for the user and 1.5 GB for your apps.

There’s a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera for your selfie needs. There’s a 2300 mAh battery, which seems modest for a smartphone with 5.5-inch display. Android 4.4 KitKat runs on the device, which is surely a pleasure. The connectivity is well covered with Dual SIM, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Most of the specs are identical to the Canvas Knight, which was launched earlier this year but for the presence of a bigger display and Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is listed to be shipping in 5-6 days, so we can expect an official announcement in the coming days. The device is available in a White with a Golden hue.
