Microsoft Lumia 650 FCC approved; Rumored to run on Windows 10

The Microsoft Lumia 650 has been FCC approved. The Lumia 650 carrying the model number RM-1152 has been approved by the FCC, meaning that a US launch is imminent.

It’s worth noting that there aren’t any images available on the FCC’s website. The image we have shown above is a design render based on internal Microsoft sources, and not an official image.

Going by previous rumors and leaks, the Microsoft Lumia 650 is expected to be powered by a 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It will boast off a 5-inch HD screen having Gorilla Glass protection. It is also said to support Dual SIM functionality.

Probable Microsoft Lumia 650 specifications:

  • CPU: 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Display: 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass
  • Rear Camera: 8MP with LED flash
  • Front Camera: 5MP
  • Internal Storage: 8GB
  • External Storage: Expandable via microSD card
  • SIM: Dual SIM
  • Battery: 2000mAh

Do keep in mind that the image shown above along with the specifications is not official and is based on previous leaks and rumors, the official design and specs of the Microsoft Lumia 650 might be different altogether. What we can say is that with FCC approval, the Lumia 650 will soon be making its way into the US. Microsoft may make some announcement during the ongoing CES 2016. What do you think?
