Moto X (2014) starts receiving Android Lollipop update in India

While Motorola had promised regular updates for its Moto phones, the company has now started releasing the Lollipop update for the Moto X smartphone.

Motorola has started pushing the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the new Moto X (2014) in India. The update brings in a host of new features and improvements, including the new Material Design. The update is being pushed over the air and is expected to reach all users over the next few weeks in batches.

The Android Lollipop update for the Moto X (2014) adds a new user interface, new battery settings panel, more natural touch screen interactions and Material Design which brings new colours, widgets and typography. Also the lock screen is updated with notifications. You can check if the update has reached you by heading out to settings and going to system updates.
