The Motorola Moto Z2 Play which was unveiled last week has been launched in India today. The Moto Z2 Play is successor to last year’s Moto Z Play and also supports Moto Mods which were introduced with the Z Play last year.
The Moto Z2 Play is powered by Snapdragon 626 SoC which is paired with 4 GB of RAM and backed by Adreno 506 GPU. There’s also a 3 GB RAM variant which comes with 32 GB of internal storage, however, Motorola has only launched the 4 GB RAM variant in India.
The Moto Z2 Play flaunts a metallic uni-body design and sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD AMOLED display which is kept on by a 3000 mAh battery. Above the display is the 5 MP camera which is accompanied by dual-LED flash, and, below the display is the fingerprint scanner.
At the back of the device is the 12 MP primary snapper which is aided by dual-LED flash. You can also see Motorola’s M logo below it, and, further down, you have the connector pins which are used to attached the Moto Mods to the device. Speaking of software, the Moto Z2 Play boots up to Android 7.1.1 Nougat and also comes with Moto Voice Assistant which can be summoned through voice commands to perform certain tasks.
