On the occasion of International Women’s Day, MTS rolled out a range of initiatives to create a safer environment for women. The new MTS Women MPowered Plan would instil a sense of increased security amongst women.
Keeping in view the increasing incidents of crimes against women, MTS has launched the innovative Women MPowered Plan to provide MTS women customers a feeling of safety. The new customers can avail the MTS Women MPowered Plan with First Recharge (FRC) of Rs 102 while existing customers can avail the services by recharging with a special tariff voucher of Rs. 76.
The subscribers of the MTS Women MPowered Plan are entitled to benefits like special calling and SMS rates, calling at negative balance and safety tips. Besides this MTS has created its own Vigilance Team to provide self-defence classes to its women customers. The company is striving to make its women customers aware about safety tips and their rights through their service.
While the MTS Women MPowered Plan has been initiated in Delhi, it would be available in all other circles across the country in the next few months. MTS, in fact, is giving a free pepper spray to every woman buying a new MTS prepaid connection.
