While Samsung is known to be focussing on the Android devices, a mysterious Windows Phone handset from the manufacturer was spotted at the benchmark site.

According to a listing on the GFX Benchmark site, Samsung is working on a new unknown Windows Phone device with model number SGH-I187. The device has a resolution of 720 x 1280, which means that the device may not have the GDR3 update of Windows Phone, which supports full HD resolution.

The phone also features an Adreno 305 GPU, considering which, we can expect the phone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 or by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus. Interestingly, the device scores more than the HTC Windows Phone 8X, almost nearing the Nokia Lumia 920. However it’s highly possible that the device would be launched for specific carriers in the US only.
