While Xiaomi had suggested that it has quite a few more devices in the pipeline after releasing its flagship, a mysterious Xiaomi handset was spotted at the benchmarks.
A mysterious Xiaomi smartphone with model number ‘Xiaomi markw’ was spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing mentions that the smartphone is powered by the 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 3 GB of RAM. Interestingly, the handset is running on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version.
While there is practically no information available about the Xiaomi markw, the handset seems to be an affordable mid-range offering. While it is still too early to assume anything, based on Xiaomi’s approach, this could be an upcoming addition to the Redmi Note series with a rather affordable pricing. We are eagerly awaiting more details on the handset.
