While we just saw the first proper images of the Nexus 5, there seems to be a lot more details of the device surfacing, raising hopes that the device may be nearing its launch.
According to sources, the upcoming Google Nexus 5 would sport a nano SIM slot, just like the Apple iPhone’s. The Ukrainian carrier ‘Life :)’ claims that it would equip you with a nano SIM card for your “iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, Nexus 5 or Android 4.4 smartphone, thus making it obvious that the Nexus 5 would have a nano SIM slot.
However, the list also mentions ‘Android 4.4 smartphone’, thus raising concerns whether the new Android version would require nano SIM’s for the smartphones. Also this is highly probable considering that the Google owned Motorola introduced nano SIM for its innovative Moto X smartphone. However for countries like India, where micro-SIM are just entering, a nano SIM may make a huge difference.
