The Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) is the second smartphone in India that runs Android Oreo (Go Edition). First is the Lava Z50 that was launched last weekend. Having said that, in case it isn’t clear already, the Nokia 1 is an entry-level smartphone, which is why it runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) – a stripped down, lightweight version of Android that you see on other mid-range and flagship smartphones.

And, as this smartphone runs Android Oreo (Go Edition), it comes with a suite of Google apps like Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go and Files Go that are built to consume less RAM and storage on a smartphone.
