Late last month, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Spain, Indian handset manufacturer Lava announced its first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone, dubbed Lava Z50 Android Oreo (Go Edition). Well today, Lava has launched this smartphone in India making it the first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in the country.

Lava Z50

As evident from the name, this smartphone runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) which is a watered down version of Android that we see in other mid-range and flagship smartphones. Well, the Android Oreo (Go Edition) is developed especially for entry-level smartphones that come with 1 GB or less amount of RAM.
