Just a week after the price of the Nokia Lumia 1020 was announced in India, the device has been released into the Indian markets.
Nokia India has announced the availability of their camera phone Nokia Lumia 1020 in India at the earlier mentioned price of Rs. 49999. The device would be available in the country in yellow, white and black colours. Nokia has also tied up with New India Assurance to offer a year-long complimentary insurance cover for the device.
Also Vodafone customers who purchase the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be offered 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months for free. The device will have an early bird offer with complimentary premium apps worth Rs. 1000. The device is however already available on some online retail stores for Rs. 47222.
