Nokia Lumia 510 goes official [4-inch screen, 256 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage]

As we were expecting and as Nokia India had teased, the Finnish giant has today officially announced the launch of the Nokia Lumia 510 starting with India and China.


The Nokia Lumia 510 arrives with a large 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and arrives with 4 GB internal storage.
Going by the specifications the Nokia Lumia 510 arrives with:

  • Display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels
  • Snapdragon S1 processor
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 4 GB internal storage
  • 7 GB cloud storage with SkyDrive
  • 5 MP camera with Autofocus
  • Window Phone 7.5 OS
  • Bluetooth 2.1, 2G, 3G connectivity
  • 1300 mAh battery

The Nokia Lumia 510 will go on to use all the exclusive-to-Lumia apps like Camera Extras, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and more. The Nokia Lumia 510 is launching in five colour options Red, Yellow, Cyan, White and Black but in India users will be able to get their hands on the Black, White and Red Lumia 510.

In India, the Nokia Lumia 510 will come with a 3 month unlimited Nokia Music and MixRadio offering. Through MixRadio, consumers can stream music directly to the phone, with the ability to listen to personalized radio channels, including offline listening.

The sales of the Lumia 510 are set to begin in first week of November 2012 in India and the smartphone will be available for prospective users under Rs.11,000.
