With the upcoming flagship OnePlus 3 expected to go on sale in India on Amazon on June 15, you can be one of the first few to own the handset in India before it goes on sale by participating in the OnePlus auction.
OnePlus has announced its partnership with Droom to host the first ever smartphone auction in India. The company will auction the OnePlus 3 even before its launch. Five units of the flagship will be up for bidding with bids starting at Re. 1. Interestingly, the proceeds of the auction will go to the charity chosen by the OnePlus community.
To participate in the OnePlus 3 auction, customers need to visit the Droom website and register to login to the portal. The bidding will start at Re. 1 with no cap on the final amount of the bid. Every bid would increase the price by Rs. 5. The top 5 bidders will be provided with a link to purchase the OnePlus 3 soon after the auction closes. The handset would however be delivered after the official announcement. The auction will go live from June 9, 4 PM till June 12, 3:59:59 PM.
