Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleOnePlus India has officially revealed key details about its upcoming smartphone – the OnePlus N6. Scheduled to launch on 30th June, the smartphone is being positioned as a battery-focused device designed to deliver exceptional endurance, long-term reliability, and a consistently smooth user experience over several years of ownership.

The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6 is its massive 8,000 mAh battery, which the company claims is the largest battery ever offered in its segment. OnePlus says the device is capable of delivering up to three days of battery life on a single charge under certain usage conditions, making it an appealing option for users who prioritize endurance over frequent charging.
To complement the large battery, the OnePlus N6 supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. While OnePlus has not disclosed charging times yet, the company says the solution is designed to quickly replenish the large battery while maintaining long-term battery health.
OnePlus has also emphasized battery longevity. According to the company, the battery is engineered to retain more than 80% of its original capacity even after seven years of regular charging cycles. This focus on long-term durability aligns with the company’s broader strategy of extending device lifespan and reducing battery degradation over time.
Beyond hardware, the OnePlus N6 is expected to rely heavily on software optimization through OxygenOS. The company claims the smartphone is designed to maintain a smooth and responsive experience for up to 60 months. This includes optimizations aimed at preserving app launch speeds, multitasking performance, animation fluidity, and overall system responsiveness throughout the device’s lifecycle.
While OnePlus has yet to reveal the processor, display specifications, camera hardware, memory configurations, or pricing details, the early teasers indicate that the OnePlus N6 will focus on delivering dependable everyday performance rather than chasing flagship specifications.
The smartphone will be available through Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retail outlets following its launch. OnePlus is expected to reveal additional information regarding pricing, availability, specifications, and launch offers closer to the official launch event on 30th June 2026.
