Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleOnePlus has officially announced the launch of its new N Series smartphone lineup in India, marking a significant expansion of the company’s product portfolio in one of its most important global markets. The first smartphone under the new lineup, the OnePlus N6, is scheduled to launch in India on June 30.

OnePlus N6

The introduction of the N Series represents OnePlus’ latest effort to strengthen its presence in the highly competitive sub-₹25,000 smartphone segment. The company says the new lineup will target younger consumers looking for reliable performance, long battery life, and accessible pricing without compromising on the overall user experience.

India remains a key growth market for the brand, with the country recording more than 152 million smartphone shipments in 2025. Through the N Series, OnePlus aims to address the needs of a broader consumer base while complementing its existing Nord and flagship smartphone portfolios.

OnePlus Adopts Three-Tier Product Strategy

With the introduction of the N Series, OnePlus India will now operate across three distinct smartphone categories.

Product Series Price Segment Focus
N Series ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 Battery life, everyday performance, accessibility
Nord Series ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 Flagship-inspired features at mid-range pricing
Flagship Series ₹50,000 and above Premium design, top-tier performance, advanced innovations

According to the company, this revised structure allows OnePlus to serve a wider range of customers, from budget-conscious buyers to premium flagship users.

Designed for India’s Gen Z Consumers

The OnePlus N Series is specifically aimed at India’s growing Gen Z population, which currently represents approximately 377 million consumers and accounts for nearly 44 percent of smartphone purchases in the country.

OnePlus notes that younger users increasingly rely on smartphones for content creation, entertainment, digital learning, communication, and casual gaming. To address these usage patterns, the company says the N Series has been designed around consistent everyday performance and extended battery life.

The company also revealed that the letter “N” in the N Series stands for “New, Neo, and Never Off,” reflecting its focus on always-available connectivity and long-lasting usability.

Strengthening Retail and Service Infrastructure

The N Series launch follows a series of operational changes undertaken by OnePlus in India earlier this year.

Leveraging the broader OPPO ecosystem, OnePlus expanded its after-sales support infrastructure from 400 service centers to 500 service centers nationwide. The company has also optimized its retail strategy to improve product availability and customer support across the country.

These initiatives are expected to play an important role as OnePlus expands into new price segments and reaches a wider audience.

OnePlus N6 Availability

The OnePlus N6 will be available through Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retail partners across India following its launch on 30th June 2026. The company is expected to reveal additional details regarding the smartphone’s specifications, pricing, features, and sales schedule in the coming weeks.
