Just some time ago we told you that the OnePlus 3 is all set to be unveiled on June 15 in China. We also told you that instead of a traditional press event, the OnePlus 3 will be unveiled through a VR event where everyone can be a part of the launch. Now, OnePlus has released an app called the ‘The Loop’ on Google Play Store. With this installed app on your Android smartphone, you will be able to be a part of the OnePlus 3 VR launch.
If you were able to claim the free the Loop VR headset that OnePlus recently gave away, you will be able to be a part of the OnePlus 3 VR launch event. Upon installing the app, the only thing we found out was a countdown timer. The timer will stop on June 14 at 10 pm IST.
This looks a little odd as 10 pm in India on June 14 will be 12.30 am on June 15 in China. Going by the image shown above, the OnePlus 3 event will start at 10 am local time in China on June 15. Now 10 am in China on June 15 translate to 7.30 am on June 15 in India. Somehow, the countdown timer in the app and the time mentioned in the image above don’t get along. We hope OnePlus clears the air on this one.
