Back in September last year, Chinese smartphone brand OPPO launched OPPO A71, and, earlier this month, the company launched the OPPO A71 (2018) in Pakistan. Well, that OPPO A71 (2018) has been now launched in India as well.
The OPPO A71 (2018) is successor to the OPPO A71 that was launched last year. The OPPO A71 (2018) boasts uni-body construction and has a design that’s similar to the A71 from last year. It sports a 5.2-inch TFT LCD display that has 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, and, below that display are capacitive navigation buttons.
Above the display is a 5 MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture which also supports Bokeh Effect that blurs the background in the photo to help the subject stand out. That said, for regular snaps, there’s a 13 MP camera at the back which is accompanied by LED flash.
The OPPO A71 (2018) also comes with A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology which is “based on a global image database that serves as an experience photographer, who knows your beauty and will offer the most suitable beautify effect for you”.
Having said that, the OPPO A71 (2018) is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC which is laced with 3 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 506 GPU. Well, it’s worth noting that the OPPO A71 (2018) in India comes with 1 GB more RAM than what’s available in other markets like Pakistan.
Moving on, the OPPO A71 (2018) boots up to ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat, and, ships with a 3000 mAh battery that keeps the lights on.
