Sports Widget Brings Live Match Updates to the Home Screen
One of the biggest additions in the June update is the new Sports Widget, designed to help users follow major football tournaments without constantly opening dedicated sports applications.
The feature can automatically surface:
- Match schedules
- Live scores
- Tournament updates
- Match reminders
Through AI Suggest, ColorOS 16 can automatically place match information on the Home Screen and Shelf approximately 30 minutes before the first match of the day. Users can also manually add the Sports Widget for quick access to scores and updates.
Audio Sharing Lets Two Bluetooth Earphones Connect Simultaneously
ColorOS 16 now introduces Audio Sharing, allowing users to connect two Bluetooth earphones to the same smartphone simultaneously.
The feature is designed for situations such as:
- Watching movies together
- Sharing music playback
- Traveling with friends or family
- Co-viewing entertainment content
OPPO says the feature creates a more convenient shared listening experience without requiring additional accessories.
New Accessibility Security Alerts
Security also receives an upgrade with the introduction of Accessibility Security Alerts.
The feature monitors applications that request Accessibility permissions and warns users if an app installed from an unknown source gains access to sensitive accessibility controls.
Key capabilities include:
- Real-time security notifications
- Instant permission revocation
- Background monitoring
- Protection against potentially risky apps
OPPO says the goal is to provide stronger protection while maintaining a simple user experience.
Weather App Gets Moon Information
The built-in Weather application now provides additional contextual information for users interested in astronomy, photography, and outdoor activities.
New additions include:
- Moonrise timings
- Moonset timings
- Live Moon Phase information
The company says these additions help create a richer and more informative weather experience.
Outdoor Mode Gets More Useful
OPPO has also improved Outdoor Mode with several usability enhancements.
New improvements include:
- Pin up to four frequently used apps
- Faster access to essential applications
- Improved location responsiveness
- Smoother app transitions
- Better outdoor usability
The update is aimed at users who frequently use their devices while commuting, traveling, or working outdoors.

Rollout Begins Across Eligible Devices
OPPO says the ColorOS 16 June update is rolling out in phases throughout the month, beginning on 1st June 2026 and continuing through 30th June 2026 for eligible OPPO smartphones which includes Find X9 Ultra, Find X9 Pro, Find X9s, Find X9, Find X8 Pro, Find X8, Reno15 Pro 5G, Reno15 5G, Reno14 Pro 5G, and Reno14 5G. The AI Mind Pilot is currently available only on the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s.
