OPPO has launched its latest premium compact flagship smartphone – the OPPO Find X9s in India alongside the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, expanding its flagship Find X series portfolio in the country. The OPPO Find X9s is positioned as a compact flagship smartphone focused on camera performance, premium design, battery endurance, and efficient flagship-level performance.
The smartphone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED flat display with ultra-narrow bezels, MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, triple 50 MP Hasselblad-tuned cameras, OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine, a massive 7,025 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging, IP69 durability ratings, and more.
The OPPO Find X9s comes with a sleek and minimal flagship design featuring rounded corners, an ultra-thin camera module, and a slim 7.99 mm profile despite housing a huge 7,025 mAh battery internally. The smartphone is available in Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange color options. On the durability side, the device features IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance alongside Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front.
On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED flat display with 1.5K resolution (2,760 x 1,256 pixels), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and ultra-slim 1.15 mm bezels on all sides for an immersive viewing experience. The panel supports Dolby Vision, up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, and 3,840 Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming for improved eye comfort during extended usage.
The OPPO Find X9s is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s octa-core processor paired with the Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. The setup is designed to deliver flagship-grade gaming performance, improved AI processing, and efficient multitasking performance while maintaining better thermal efficiency and power consumption.
The smartphone comes with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. OPPO has also equipped the device with its third-generation Silicon-Carbon Battery technology featuring 15% silicon content, allowing the company to fit a 7,025 mAh battery within a slim chassis.
One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its massive 7,025 mAh battery paired with 80W SUPERVOOC wired flash charging. OPPO claims the battery is engineered to retain more than 80% of its original health after five years of typical usage. However, the device does not include wireless charging support.
For cameras, the OPPO Find X9s features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP 3x periscope telephoto camera using the Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS support. On the front, the smartphone houses a 32 MP selfie camera.
The camera system is powered by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine, a computational photography suite designed to improve image clarity, dynamic range, and color accuracy while reducing CPU usage and power consumption by up to 50%. The device also supports Hasselblad portrait imaging for enhanced portrait photography results.
The OPPO Find X9s runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes flagship connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, NFC, stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
