It seems that Paytm realized that many of its users didn’t like the additional 2% fee which it levied on credit card users for adding money to the Paytm wallet. Yesterday Paytm announced that it will charge 2% additional fee on credit card users to prevent people from misusing the system, but just within a day of this announcement Paytm has rolled back these charges.

In its new blog post, which is much shorter than the one in which they announced the 2% charges, Paytm has said that they have decide to withdraw the 2% fee on credit card users for the convenience of its users and will bring in new features to prevent misuse of its system in the future.

Paytm’s Founder and CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, wrote about this in a Facebook post. As per his post, Paytm will now aggressively block credit card and users who will try to trick their system.
