POCO India has officially launched the POCO X8 Power 5G, targeting high-endurance performance in the upper mid-range smartphone segment. The smartphone focuses on battery endurance, durability, and long-term software support, combining a 10,000 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge, a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC, and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The POCO X8 Power 5G comes in Yellow and Black color options and is designed for users who prioritize extended battery life, multimedia consumption, and long-term device usage. The smartphone is launched alongside POCO X8.
The main feature of the POCO X8 Power 5G is its 10,000 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, which uses 16% silicon content. It supports 100W HyperCharge fast wired charging, with POCO claiming that the battery can provide a full day of standard use after approximately 20 minutes of charging. The smartphone also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging for powering other devices and accessories.
The battery is certified under TÜV SÜD 5-star Battery Performance standards and is designed to retain at least 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, which POCO equates to around six years of typical daily operation.
The smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K Resolution (2,772 x 1,280 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
