We are all set for the Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C launch that is expected to happen today across 11 cities in India. While we were wondering the reason for a grand launch in India, the devices, for the first time, will be available on contract basis in the country.

We know that Reliance Communication would be partnering with Apple to launch the Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in India today, however new information suggests that the telecom service provider will launch the device on contract, making it the first in the country. To make the offer even more attractive the company is said to provide the handset at just Rs. 2999 per month on contract.

The iPhone 5S would be priced at Rs. 53500 off contract, Reliance would however give the handset for just Rs. 2999 per month rental for a lock in period of 2 years. Similarly, the iPhone 5C which would be priced at Rs. 41900 off contract would be available at Rs. 2599 per month rental for a lock in period of 2 years. Further the package will also include unlimited voice calls, SMS and 3G data.
