Samsung adds new smartphones – Galaxy Ace, Fit & Pop – to its family
Samsung India has broadened its range of smart phones in India. They recently announced new smart phones for the Indian market. The Galaxy range has new members, namely Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Pop and Galaxy Fit. The new smart phones will be equipped with android 2.2.
Galaxy Ace has slick looks and an 800 MHz processor that enables consumers to experience smooth web, hi-quality 3D graphic performance and faster data processing. A large 3.5 inch HVGA TFT touch screen display provides a great widescreen experience for multimedia features. The android market and the social hub feature provide a huge range of applications. The smart phone also boasts a 5MP camera with flash; up to seven multiple home screens and provides easy connectivity with HSDPA 7.2 and WI-Fi. The phone has 1350mAH battery, comes with a free 2GB card (further expandable unto 32GB) and changeable color back panels. It will be available for Rs. 18,000.
The next in line is the Galaxy Fit which is a bit less expensive and a bit smaller that the Ace. Boasting a 3.3 inch QVGA TFT display and a 600 MHz processor, the smart phone has android, an optimized user interface with touchwiz 3 and hybrid widgets to give users a personalized experience. It has the same battery of 1350mAH capacity and a 5 megapixel snapper. It also has expandable memory of upto 32GB. Wi-Fi and HSDPA provide high speed internet access for full web experience. The Galaxy fit will cost around Rs. 12,000.
The Galaxy Pop is the last in the lineup which is the smallest one in the lot. The 3G enabled android smart phone is embedded with the touchwiz 3, social hub, swype and active sync is particularly for the young generation. A 600 MHz processor and a 1200mAH battery make the smart phone run efficiently and provide a long battery time. The 3.1 inch QVGA 16M TFT screen is brilliant and the smart phone offers great multimedia features for the user ; from access to music , camera and more .The 3.5 mm ear jack enhances sound quality while listening to the user’s music library or built in FM radio. The Galaxy Pop will be available for Rs. 11,000.
