Samsung Galaxy Alpha gets a significant price drop
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has received a hefty price drop on Snapdeal. Samsung Galaxy Alpha which was launched in India at Rs. 39990 is now selling for Rs. 26990.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha was Samsung’s first Android smart phone to showcase their metallic design philosophy. It features a Super AMOLED 4.7 inch, 720p display which packs in 312 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has 32 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM and an octa-core processor. Samsung has included a 12 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front camera. The rear camera is coupled with a LED flash and has auto focus. Other goodies include NFC, fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor and notification LED. Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with Kitkat out of the box and also has a Lollipop update coming along in the future. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is available in Black, Silver, White, Gold and Blue.
While Snapdeal is the only online retailer offering a price tag of Rs. 26990, Flipkart, too has lowered the price of Samsung Galaxy Alpha and now is offering to sell it at a price of Rs. 31500. Due to the price drop Samsung Galaxy Alpha will now give an even more tough competition to Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and Apple iPhone 6.
