Ahead of the announcement, the company has revealed key details about the upcoming smartphone, including its design, display, cameras, hardware, and software support. Positioned in the sub-₹20,000 segment, the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G focuses on a slim design, a 50 MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and long-term software support.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G features a slim 7.5 mm profile and a minimalist rear design with a vertically arranged camera module. The smartphone will be available in two color options: Lilac Bliss and Bliss Black.
On the front, the smartphone sports a Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and smoother scrolling. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, adding protection against everyday scratches and accidental drops.
The Galaxy F70 5G features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). OIS helps reduce blur caused by hand movements, which can be particularly useful when capturing photos in low light or recording videos.
The rear camera setup also includes a 5 MP ultra-wide camera for landscapes and group photos, along with a 2 MP macro camera for close-up shots. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 13 MP front camera housed in a waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1330 octa-core SoC and supports 5G connectivity. The smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging. The combination of a large battery and an efficient mid-range SoC is aimed at everyday activities such as browsing, messaging, streaming, and using social media throughout the day.
Samsung has confirmed 4 Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates, giving you a longer support window than many smartphones in this price segment. You also get Samsung Knox for device security and support for Samsung Wallet, which offers features for digital payments and storing supported digital credentials. Other software features include Circle to Search with Google, Quick Share, and Voice Focus.
