Samsung announces Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition
Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 edge in February this year. Samsung also announced the Pink Gold colored variant of Galaxy S7 edge last month. Now today, Samsung has announced the Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 edge.
In order to commemorate the third anniversary of the mobile game Injustice: Gods Among Us, Samsung teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment to bring the Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 edge.
“We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and offer a special edition of Galaxy S7 edge for fans of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Samsung always seeks to provide the best mobile gaming experience for its users, and this partnership reinforces our commitment to the game’s fans.” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics.
The Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 edge is inspired by Batman who is a DC superhero and also a character in the game. The gold-colored Bat logo can be found on the back of the Galaxy S7 edge. There are hints of gold on other parts of the phone as well like camera rims, home button, earpiece. It’s worth noting that Samsung had announced the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition exactly a year ago.
Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition, the package will also contain a gold-plated Batarang, a phone case designed after Batman’s armor, a Gear VR, Injustice game credit and Oculus VR content vouchers. However, the contents of this package may differ by markets and mobile operators.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition will be available from June 13 in select markets including China, Korea, Latin America, Russia, and Singapore. As of now, there’s no information regarding the pricing of this Injustice Edition.
