Google has been showing increasing consideration for the Indian market. The LG G Watch was available on the Google Play store almost immediately. Meanwhile, the Samsung Gear Live, which was also listed, is now available for purchase.
The Samsung Gear Live, which is the company’s first Android Wear smart watch and was announced at the recent Google I/O conference, is now available for purchase on the Google Play store in India. The smart watch is priced at Rs. 15900 and will start shipping in two weeks’ time. The Samsung Gear Live has a 1.63 inch display with 300 x 300 pixels Super AMOLED display. The watch is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor.
Meanwhile, the LG G Watch is already available on the Google Play store in India for Rs. 14999 and is expected to start shipping next week. Both the smart watches are expected to create an early stir the market. We can also expect more companies join the race with their own smart watches. Interestingly, both the smart watches got a software update today itself.
