While Samsung has been known for delayed software updates, the company has been showing keen interest in the Android Nougat update and may soon release the latest update.

Samsung Beta community 7.1.1

According to sources, Samsung is gearing up to release the Android Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge. While the company has been testing the Android v7.0 Nougat version of these flagship handsets, sources suggest that the company would release the latest Android v7.1.1 Nougat version when it releases the stable version for its devices.

As of now Samsung has not revealed any details about the stable release of the Android Nougat version for the handsets. While there is no timeline mentioned, we expect the stable version of update to be released early next year. Thereafter we expect that the update would be pushed to other high-end Samsung smartphones.
