If you are on of those having Sony’s eBook Reader and iPhone or Android phone, it is time to celebrate. Sony has announced that they will be launching Reader software (ebook reading and purche software) for iPhone and android phones in December. This means that you can now continue reading your favourite ebooks on the go (on your favourite smartphone) while you are not carrying your ebook reader. The functionality of the reader app include:
- Access books previously purchased at reader store
- Get best sellers and new releases from Rader Store
- Make bookmarks, notes and highlights and adjust font sized as you read.
This should make ebook market intersting as there will be a four way fight between Apple (iBooks), Amazone (Kindle reader), B&N (Reader) and Sony to gain supremacy in iOS platform and three way (B&N, Amazon, Sony) fight on Android platform.
