Remember the Fast Forward Campaign that Sony Mobile was running to unveil its next Xperia smartphone which would be fun and social and the countdown which was set to 10 days, has come down to zero in just a matter of couple of days. With all the likes and shares, the announcement was moved forward by 9 days, 4 hours, 58 minutes!

While we were expecting eagerly the launch of the Xperia GX’s international version Sony has now announced the next Xperia called the Sony Xperia Miro, which by looks seems to be inspired by the Xperia Sola.

The Xperia Miro comes with a 3.5 inch screen for all the crisp and clear viewing on the smartphone and it comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box backed up by Sony’s UXP NXT software. The Xperia Miro arrives with a total Facebook integration which could be found everywhere in the smartphone.
Sony is calling it Xperia with Facebook which will make it easier and faster to like, comment and share straight from your smartphone. Oh and did we tell you that Sony has also included a unique illuminations for incoming messages and Social updates from Facebook which could help you know that you have some notification of the social networking site.

The Xperia Miro also comes equipped with a decent 5 MP camera at the rear capable of recording videos at 30fps. And there is also a front facing camera for Video chat which we are expecting to be of VGA resolution. Sony’s xLOUD audio technology gives you crisp and loud sound. The Miro comes with DLNA capability and a large battery.
Sony will be releasing the Xperia Miro in four colour choices which include, Black, Black/Pink, White and White/Gold colours for buyers to choose from. There is no information on the pricing and availability of the Miro but we should hear from Sony soon.
