Spice has launched a couple of new budget smartphones in India, the Spice Stellar 497 and the Spice Stellar 361. Both the smartphones are pretty affordable and pack some decent specs. Let’s check out their specs, shall we?
The Spice Stellar 497 is the better of the two. It features a 4.5-inch IPS display of FWVGA (854x480p) resolution. It’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor with 512 MB RAM. There’s 4 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 32 GB. It has a 3.2 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera.
The Stellar 497 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat on board and there’s a 1650 mAh battery to keep things running. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
Coming to the more affordable of the two, the Spice Stellar 361. The device features a 3.5-inch HVGA (480x320p) display and it’s powered by a 1 GHz Dual-core processor with 256 MB RAM. The internal storage is very modest at 512 MB with expansion up to 32 GB. On the camera front, it has a 2 MP rear camera with flash and a 1.3 MP front facing camera.
The Spice Stellar 361 comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it features a 1400 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Spice Stellar 497 comes in a single White version and it’s priced at Rs. 5,999 while the Spice Stellar 361 comes in the usual Black and White color versions and it’s priced at Rs. 3,699.
