Wondering why you are getting slow internet speed from last 2 days? Don’t scratch your head or shout on Customer Care Executive of your Internet Service Provider. The reason behind the slow internet speed is Bandwidth outage due to planned maintenance by various International Bandwidth Providers.

Those who like to read stories, read further. Here is mine. On 25th suddenly when I was downloading a file from internet I realized that I was not getting the speed which I should, I thought it might be a temporary glitch. I called BSNL office to know the reason and I was vaguely informed about some planned maintenance. On the same day while surfing on my mobile I realized that my surfing speed was too slow and on checking the speed I realized my speeds were down by 66%. At that time I realized that its not just BSNL subscribers but other people using different telecom operators must be facing the same issue.

Yesterday, I received a mail, from one of my friends working in a Telecom company, about this which cleared all my doubts and after reading the mail I was like ‘What the Hell!’. Here is what I learned from that mail.

The reason of slow speed is Bandwidth outage due to planned maintenance by various International Bandwidth Providers. This Planned Bandwidth Outage was started on 25th July 2011 and will end on 31st July 2011.

So people be ready as we have to suffer from slow internet speeds for coming few days.
