TATA DOCOMO Partners with Gemalto to provide a unique service interface and user experience

tata-docomo-150x150TATA DOCOMO today announced its partnership with Gemalto. Gemalto’s offering will help further liberate customers from remembering complicated codes and configuring services each time a user changes his mobile handset.

The Gemalto solution provides TATA DOCOMO subscribers with easy-to-navigate menus that enable them to enjoy a wide range of value-added services (VAS), using any type of mobile phone. With services located on the SIM, the user can easily browse through his service menu and launch the service on his handset with a simple click. What’s more, an intelligent systems helps Tata DOCOMO keep track of user preference and choice and a content gateway at operators end ensures that regular content update in real time. For e.g. if the user selects an ongoing India Sri Lanka Cricket series as an option, then the user will receive all the related content on his mobile phone without having to stream the news from the menu service tab.

TATA DOCOMO subscribers benefit from innovative services including mobile banking, mobile chatting and information on demand, through a user-friendly interface. They can also customize their mobile phone with wallpapers and ringtones, and enjoy games and infotainment. Users are offered to choose between Hindi and English when activating the service.
