Designed for travel, daily commuting, outdoor activities, and personal cooling during hot weather conditions, the device combines traditional airflow with semiconductor-based cooling technology in a compact handheld form factor. Key highlights include 18°C Chiller Technology, high-speed 14,000 RPM motor, 4,000 mAh battery with up to 12 hours of battery life, and more.
The biggest highlight of the TEMPT ICY is its 18°C Chiller Technology, which utilizes a built-in semiconductor cooling plate alongside high-speed airflow. According to the company, the cooling plate can rapidly reach temperatures as low as 18°C within seconds of activation, providing an instant cooling effect when placed against the skin.
TEMPT says the ICY Portable Fan employs a dual-cooling architecture that combines airflow and direct-contact cooling to deliver improved comfort in high-temperature environments. Users can switch between standard airflow operation and the dedicated Chiller Mode, depending on their cooling requirements.
The fan is powered by a 4,000 mAh rechargeable battery, which is designed to deliver up to 12 hours of fan-only usage depending on the selected speed setting. When using Chiller Mode, the device can provide up to 10 hours of operation at lower fan speeds, making it suitable for extended outdoor use, travel, and daily commutes.
The portable fan adopts a compact 6-inch lightweight design with a matte finish intended to improve grip and portability. TEMPT also bundles a carrying lanyard and a travel pouch with the product, making it easier to transport during travel or outdoor activities. The TEMPT ICY Instant Cooling Portable Fan is available in Elegant Beige, Bold Grey, and Serene White color options.
Performance is handled by a high-speed brushless motor capable of operating at over 14,000 RPM. The motor is engineered to generate consistent airflow while maintaining quiet operation. TEMPT claims noise levels remain below 20 dB, making the fan suitable for office environments, public transportation, libraries, and indoor usage.
To improve usability, the ICY Portable Fan includes a built-in LED display that provides real-time information regarding battery status, active speed level, and cooling mode. The device uses a simple single-button control system that allows users to cycle through airflow levels and activate Chiller Mode without navigating complex settings.
Charging duties are handled via a USB Type-C port with fast charging support. According to the company, the battery can be fully recharged in approximately 90 minutes using compatible power adapters, laptops, power banks, or vehicle chargers.
Speaking on the launch, Gaurav Khetterpal, CEO & Founder of TEMPT Smart Pvt. Ltd, said, “TEMPT believes innovation should address everyday challenges in a simple and meaningful way. With rising temperatures and increasingly mobile lifestyles, consumers need a cooling solution that can move wherever they do. ICY is designed to provide instant relief from heat through advanced cooling technology, a long-lasting battery, and strong portability.
With our innovative Chiller Mode powered by a semiconductor-based cooling plate, users can experience AC-like cooling within seconds. Whether commuting, travelling, working, or engaging in outdoor activities, ICY ensures cooling comfort is always within reach, making it a suitable companion for the summer season and beyond.”
