Zync has been very aggressive in the 7 inch tablet market with the company launching tablets with upgrades to its older ones and out choice for you would be the Zync Z-990 which arrives with a 7 inch screen with 800 x480 display resolution and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, front facing VGA camera, USB port, Wi-Fi, and has a 3600mAh battery to run the tablet.
Zync Z-990 is priced at Rs. 8,990 and available at various online retailers.
Zen mobile launched the Ultratab A100 last month and it arrives with similar specs as those of the Zync Z-990 and is its direct competitor.
The Zen Ultratab A100 packs in a 7 inch display with 800 x480 display resolution, 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, Mali 400 GPU, 4 GB internal memory, 1.3 MP camera on the front, Android 4.0 ICS, has 3G (via dongle), Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and runs on a 2800 mAh battery.
The tablet is available online for Rs. 6,199 and also comes pre-loaded with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
iBerry BT 07i Limited Edition:


iBerry has been one of the popular tablet maker in India who has always brought out an advanced tablet and competed well with big names.
iBerry’s BT 07i Limited Edition tablet is the contender makes it to our list with the regular 7 inch tablet specs which includes 7 inch TFT screen with 800 x 480 resolution, Cortex A-10 processor clocking at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, OpenGL GPU clocking at 400 MHz, 4 GB internal memory, regular connectivity support, 3600 mAh battery and Android 4.0 ICS which arrived recently only.
