The last few days have seen a lot of record breaks in terms of performance, thanks to the new and powerful Snapdragon 800 processor. But this time around, Intel took the lead and broke all records with a huge margin.

Bay-Trail

As per the results of an unknown Android device powered by the Intel Bay Trail processor which was spotted on AnTuTu Benchmarks, the device scored a whopping 43416, which is the highest ever. This score when compared to the scores of the Snapdragon 800 devices, is nearly a 10000 points ahead. Most of the Snapdragon 800 powered devices scored in the 30000 range, which was considered to be the best, till now.

The frugal low-cost Bay Trail architecture can be considered to be the most powerful ARM silicon that is in devices now. Not just that, the Bay Trail devices offer a better battery life than the Haswell processor. It’s now just about time we wait to see what this unknown Android device powered by the Intel Bay Trail processor is.
