Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleVodafone Idea (Vi) has announced a new partnership with Spotify, bringing complimentary Spotify Premium access to eligible Vi Postpaid subscribers in India. The collaboration combines Vi’s connectivity services with Spotify’s premium music streaming experience, giving users access to ad-free music, podcasts, and offline listening as part of select Postpaid plans.
Starting today, eligible Vi Postpaid customers can activate 3 months of Spotify Premium at no additional cost through the Vi app. The benefit is available to users activating or retaining eligible Postpaid connections and is applicable only to customers who have not previously subscribed to Spotify Premium.
Spotify Premium with Vi Postpaid
With Spotify Premium, users get access to:
- Ad-free streaming across more than 100 million songs and 7+ million podcasts
- Offline downloads for music and podcasts
- Unlimited skips and on-demand playback
- Queue control for customized listening
- High-quality audio streaming at up to 320 kbps
After the complimentary three-month period, users can continue their Spotify Premium subscription using Vi’s ‘Add to Bill’ feature for ₹139 per month.

For Family Postpaid plans, the Spotify Premium benefit is available only to the primary account holder.
Vi says the partnership is designed to enhance everyday digital experiences, allowing users to enjoy uninterrupted music and podcasts while commuting, travelling, working out, or relaxing. The company also noted that it plans to explore additional offerings with Spotify as the partnership evolves.
