Telecom operator Vi has unveiled a new advertising campaign titled “Vi pe sab hain VIP,” featuring actor Shah Rukh Khan. The campaign follows the company’s recently refreshed brand identity and aims to highlight its ongoing network upgrades, digital offerings and customer benefits.

Shah Rukh Khan Discovers Everyone Is a VIP

The campaign uses a humorous storyline built around Shah Rukh Khan’s public persona. In the commercial, Khan initially assumes that Vi’s latest network improvements, entertainment access and service privileges have been created specifically for him.

He eventually discovers that the same enhancements and benefits are being extended to Vi’s entire subscriber base, reinforcing the campaign’s central message that every customer gets access to the brand’s benefits.

According to Vi, the campaign is focused on expanding customer access and positioning premium network and service benefits as standard offerings rather than privileges limited to specific customer tiers.

The campaign was conceptualised by Ogilvy and produced by Chrome Films, using a comedic and mainstream approach to communicate Vi’s customer-centric positioning.

Speaking on the launch, Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer, Vi said, “At Vi, our journey of transformation is focused on creating better experiences and bringing meaningful benefits for everyone on our network. Vi pe sab hain VIP is our way of signaling that change is already happening and it’s for everyone to experience. The new ad campaign captures all of this, in a lighthearted way through Shah Rukh Khan, who brings his trademark humor and charm to the idea that while he may believe all these upgrades are happening specially for him, the truth is that they are meant for everyone. Our message is simple – at Vi everyone matters.”

Kainaz Karmakar and Harshad Rajadhyaksha, Group Chief Creative Directors, Ogilvy India added, “When you have India’s most-loved celebrity, it’s overwhelming to create anything. But hats off to our team and to our super cool clients for green lighting this campaign. The idea is simple, SRK plays a star who believes Vi is upgrading so many services because he is now on their network. No one has the guts to tell him the new goodies and benefits are for all. SRK has played his part so well, the giggles started at the shoot itself. The work was created by our Senior ECD, Rohit Dubey and his team. Amit Sharma from Chrome films added his magic to bring this idea from paper to film.”

Campaign Rollout

The promotional campaign begins on 10 September 2026 and will roll out across multiple channels, including television, digital platforms and out-of-home (OOH) placements.

Through the “Vi pe sab hain VIP” campaign, Vi is using Shah Rukh Khan’s star power and humour to communicate its message that the latest network, entertainment, and service enhancements are available across its subscriber base.
