vivo India has launched the vivo Buds, its latest budget true wireless earbuds in India. The earbuds focus on extended battery life, low-latency connectivity, call quality and integration with compatible vivo smartphones. The vivo Buds combine a 10 mm PU + PEEK driver, Bluetooth 6.1, 42 ms gaming latency, AI-assisted noise cancellation, dual-device connectivity, and up to 50 hours of total playback at a price of ₹1,999.
The vivo Buds feature a 10 mm high-resolution moving-coil driver, Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity, up to 50 hours of total playback with the charging case, and a dedicated 42 ms low-latency mode for gaming.
10mm Driver & Audio Customization
The vivo Buds feature a 10 mm high-resolution speaker driver with a composite PU and PEEK diaphragm. The construction is designed to reduce acoustic distortion while maintaining the frequency response across highs, mids and bass.
The earbuds support DeepX 4.0 sound effects, including Mega Bass, Clear Voice, Clear High Pitch and Audiobook Mode. Users can also manually adjust audio through a 10-band equalizer.
On compatible vivo smartphones, the earbuds support spatial audio with four environment modes: Theater, Concert Hall, Studio and Live Concert.
AI Noise Cancellation & Wind Noise Reduction
For calls, the vivo Buds use a dual-microphone system with AI-assisted noise cancellation. The system is designed to filter background sounds such as traffic and honking while focusing on the user’s voice.
vivo has also incorporated a physical cross-flow duct design that redirects airflow away from the microphone openings, along with an internal deceleration chamber to help reduce wind interference.
Each earbud weighs approximately 3.8 grams and comes with ergonomically shaped silicone ear tips. The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Bluetooth 6.1 & 42ms Gaming Latency
The vivo Buds support Bluetooth 6.1 with Dual-Channel Transmission 2.0 and a range of up to 10 metres. They also support dual-device multipoint connectivity, allowing users to connect the earbuds with smartphones, tablets and PCs.
For gaming, the earbuds feature a dedicated low-latency mode with latency rated at 42 ms.
The touch controls support customizable double-tap, triple-tap and long-press gestures.
On compatible vivo devices running OriginOS, the earbuds can integrate directly with system-level controls without requiring a separate companion app. Users can access EQ settings, remote camera shutter controls and the Find My utility directly through the integration.
Up To 50 Hours Of Playback
The vivo Buds are equipped with a 525 mAh charging case battery and 53 mAh battery in each earbud. The earbuds offer up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, while total playback with the charging case reaches up to 50 hours.
A 10-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of playback, according to vivo.
