Vi launches Spotify Premium Prepaid Plans starting at ₹230

Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleVodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced three new prepaid recharge plans in India that bundle Spotify Premium with mobile data, voice calling, SMS benefits, and OTT subscriptions. The new plans are priced at ₹230, ₹250, and ₹435, giving eligible prepaid users access to Spotify Premium as part of their recharge.

With this launch, Vi expands its partnership with Spotify beyond postpaid users. The bundled Spotify Premium subscription offers ad-free music streaming, offline downloads, unlimited skips, and high-quality audio without requiring a separate subscription.

3 New Vi Prepaid Plans

The new recharge plans cater to different usage requirements, ranging from data-focused add-on packs to unlimited prepaid plans with entertainment benefits.

• The ₹435 Non-Stop Hero Plan includes unlimited 4G/5G data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, a JioHotstar Mobile subscription, and Spotify Premium, all with a validity of 28 days.
• The ₹250 prepaid plan offers 2 GB of data, unlimited voice calls, 300 SMS, and Spotify Premium for 28 days.
• Meanwhile, the ₹230 add-on pack bundles 30 GB high-speed data, Spotify Premium, and access to 20+ OTT platforms, including JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, FanCode, and Lionsgate Play, with a 28-day validity.

Eligible users will receive access to Spotify Premium features, including:

• Ad-free music streaming
• Offline downloads
• Unlimited skips
• High-quality audio playback

Vi says the subscription remains active throughout the recharge validity period and can be renewed by purchasing another eligible plan after expiry.

Entertainment Portfolio Expands

With Spotify Premium joining its prepaid offerings, Vi now provides access to a broader entertainment ecosystem across select plans. Depending on the recharge, users can also receive subscriptions to services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, and ZEE5.

How To Activate Spotify Premium

Eligible customers can activate the benefit through the Vi App by following these steps:

1. Open the Vi App
2. Go to Claim Benefits under Active Services
3. Tap Claim next to Spotify Premium
4. Sign in with an existing Spotify account or create a new account

Once activated, the Spotify Premium subscription remains linked to the validity of the eligible Vi recharge.
