While most VoIP mobile clients plan on sticking to the mobile-only environment, Viber has now descended into the PC ecosystem by introducing the Viber client for Windows and Mac computers.
According to Viber, the cross platform VoIP client is now available on Windows and Mac computers. Viber, which just like Skype, can be used to make voice calls, video calls and send messages in groups. The desktop client of Viber has a feature allowing to transfer calls from one device to another.
The VoIP client, just like Whatsapp, uses your registered mobile number to connect. The Viber client for Windows requires Windows 7 and above and requires OS X 10.7 and above for the Mac OS. You can download Viber for Windows and Mac.
