Vodafone 3G is coming to Bangalore

Subscribers of Vodafone in Bangalore can now enjoy 3G services. Vodafone today announced that 3G services will be made available to its customers in Bangalore from tomorrow i.e. August 5,2011. Vodafone has tied with Airtel to provide 3G services in Bangalore. Vodafone will be launching 3G in other towns and cities in Karnataka in a phased manner over the coming months.

As an introductory offer, Vodafone is offering below mentioned data plans:

*Post free units – postpaid customer will be charged @ 2p/10kb
*2G pack benefits will be replaced with 3G pack benefits upon activation
*Video call charges – Rs 3/ min applicable
*Mobile Broadband data plans can be used only with Vodafone 3G dongles (without voice support)

Vodafone Customers can dial 116 (toll free) to know more about 3G and tariff plans
