Given Vodafone’s constant urge to attract new customers, the company has now launched the Refer-A-Friend referral programme.
Vodafone India has announced the launch of the Refer-A-Friend referral programme that allows existing Vodafone customers to refer their friends, relatives or colleagues and rewards them for doing so. The referral programme enables free calling for a whole year, to the Vodafone customer who refers a friend with the referred friend who ports in to Vodafone.
The Refer-A-Friend referral programme also offers benefits like free Vodafone-to-Vodafone 100 minutes or additional talktime or bill discounts of Rs 100 for the Vodafone customer who refers. Both customers also stand a chance to win Samsung Galaxy phones in a lucky draw. To refer, existing Vodafone customers need to send toll free message to 199 – MGM<space><Friends Mobile Number>.
Speaking about the Refer-A-Friend referral programme, Ishmeet Singh, Business Head- Mumbai Circle, Vodafone India, said, “Vodafone currently has 8.6 million customers in Mumbai who we believe are our true brand ambassadors. Vodafone ‘Refer-A-Friend’ is an initiative with a two pronged objective – to thank them for their patronage, as well as to welcome their closest associates into the Vodafone family.”
