Whatsapp for Android updated, brings support for Android Wear to Public

WhatAapp today updated their app for Android devices bringing full support for Android Wear devices, such as the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live smartwatches. The users can now read and reply from their wrist. The update also includes improved message storage and some bug fixes.

Android Wear support was preciously available in its beta release exclusive to beta testers, but now it’s stable and is available in public release for everyone. The latest build version is “2.11.362”.

After installing the latest update, the WhatApp companion app for Android Wear will automatically install and user can see latest notifications and read messages from WhatsApp without pulling out the phone itself. User can also swipe left or right to see other messages, reply using voice and swipe away to ignore.

This is really a nice addition to the already popular Instant Messaging app and those Whatsapp addicts who have Android Wear, surely gonna love this. You can download the update from Google play store.
