Now we have info about the future of Window Phone for the year 2012. A leaked roadmap image confirms information about Tango and Apollo updates for the platform.

Tango update will be launched in Q2 of 2012 however the only info given is that the update will concentrate on enabling Windows Phone 7 on low-end handsets for making it available in the affordable range.

The update that you should be looking forward to is Apollo which will be launched in Q4 of 2012. The update is said to be launched with support for HD displays and dual-core processors which will make WP handsets ‘superphones’ and cater the needs of business users and alike.

So is Microsoft heading in the right direction? What do you think?
