As expected, Xiaomi has unveiled its next-generation ultra-affordable Xiaomi Redmi 3s offerings in India with a very competitive pricing.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime, which is the company’s most affordable 4G smartphone offering with the latter flaunting a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 430 processor and is available in two variants – one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage and the other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a massive 4000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s is priced Rs. 6999 for the 2 GB variant with 16 GB storage and Rs. 8999 for the 3 GB variant with 32 GB storage. The 3 GB variant would go on sale on August 9 at 12 pm from MI.com and Flipkart. The 2 GB variant would go on sale starting from August 16.
