Just as expected, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the affordable Xiaomi Redmi 3s in India on August 3.
Xiaomi has revealed that it will be launching the Xiaomi Redmi 3s in India on August 3. The handset is a variant of the Redmi 3 with a full metal body and a fingerprint scanner on the back. While there is no official confirmation, sources suggest that the handset would be priced starting in the Rs. 7000 range and would be available by mid-August.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a 5 inch HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The handset is available in two variants – one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, and the other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Sources hint that Xiaomi will release both the variants in India with the 2 GB variant in the Rs. 7000 price range and the 3 GB variant in the Rs. 10000 price range.
